The Accidental Quarterback is an amazing story about a boy named Alex who does not know he is bionic. His dad knows that he is different, but waits until he is in middle school to tell his son. Later in the book, Alex makes friends with a girl named Sophie and a boy named Dex. He then learns that they too are a “project” of team up. The boys also join the football team.

I am a girl. I am not a tomboy. But the writer of this book made it so gender neutral, that I did not feel like I had to pick one or the other. I took it to school and I could not put it down! It was like a magnetic urge to see what was going to happen next. I can’t wait to read the next one!
My grandson really enjoyed this book!!
